School Portraits File Folder Mini Scrapbook Album Tutorial

Today I wanted to share with you a perfect little mini album for housing your kids' school portraits!

I designed this album specifically for one of the many scrapbooking workshops I used to put on when I had EllaBella Designs.

I loved the bold colors of the Scenic Route Appleton line, and I still have loads left as I made sure I hoarded collected as much of this line as possible when I had my business!

This line has been discontinued, but there are other great school-themed scrapbooking paper kits, such as this one and this one!

The base of the album is actually a file folder!  It is embellished on both sides and I have used tags throughout, which can be used to adhere more photos, or possibly write a bit about the school year such as friends, favorite memories, special achievements, etc.  It is closed with a cute little clip embellished with ribbon!
