Today I wanted to share with you a perfect little mini album for housing your kids' school portraits! (See instructions below, or download instructions here.)
I designed this album specifically for one of the many scrapbooking workshops I used to put on when I had EllaBella Designs. I loved the bold colors of the Scenic Route Appleton line; and I still have loads left as I made sure I hoarded collected as much of this line as possible when I had my business!
The base of the album is actually a file folder! It is embellished on both sides and I have used tags throughout, which can be used to adhere more photos, or possibly write a bit about the school year such as friends, favorite memories, special achievements, etc. It is closed with a cute little cip embellished with ribbon!

Supplies needed:
- Letter size file folder
- Bone folder
- Ink pad for inking edges
- Pencil, scissors
- Fast-drying liquid glue – Tombow is recommended
- Strong double sided tape
- Paper clasp
- Paper hole punch
- Lined note paper for “notebook”
- 4 manilla tags
- Ribbon
- School-themed patterned scrapbooking paper & embellishments
